Undergraduate Peer Advisor introduction and office hours [FALL 2021]

Hello everyone! My name is Copelyn Kelly, and I am the CSD Undergraduate Peer Advisor for the 2021-22 school year! I am a double duke and so excited to be back at JMU for my first year in the SLP Master's program! As the Undergraduate Peer Advisor, I am a resource for questions involving the major, graduate school applications, and other CSD-related questions. Below is the email that you can reach me as the peer advisor. CSD Progression Reminder [Spring 2021]

    Dear sophomores,   With registration for Fall of 2021 starting on April 19th, now is a great time to take stock of your hard work in your CSD courses and to plan ahead. As a friendly reminder, the foundation courses - CSD207, CSD208 and CSD209 - require a letter grade of C or better to move on to the upper level CSD coursework. Remember these grades also will be important for the graduate school applications in your future.   Please take this opportunity to evaluate how you are doing in these courses.   If you are doing well, congratulations and keep up the hard work!   If you have any concerns about your current performance (such as one or more C grade across 207, 208, and 209), this is a good time to reflect on the goals for your undergraduate career. You are encouraged to communicate with your instructor(s) and advisor. Changes to Office Hours [SPRING2021]

 Please note the changes to Dr. Kuo's office hours for this week--- FOR WEEK OF 2/1: Advising office hour for drop-ins will be on Wednesday 2/3 (1:30-2:30PM) only due to class needs. Office hours will return to the usual two-day schedule next week. As always, please feel free to e-mail with any questions that you may have.
